筆墨傳情、字裡生香--華語文書寫競賽 Chinese Character Writing Contest
一、活動宗旨
透過書寫比賽，推廣正體字中文書寫之美，讓不同年齡層與族裔人士都能在紙筆之間，體驗漢字的文化底蘊與書寫的樂趣，並增進跨文化交流。
二、比賽時間
日期：2025年10月25日（星期六）
時間：上午10:00－下午3:00 (最晚入場時間下午2:30)
（採「自由進場」方式，比賽時間內任何時間皆可入場，每人比賽時間為30分鐘，完成即可離場。）

1. 幼兒組 4-6歲（鉛筆組）
2. 低年級組 7-9歲（鉛筆組）
3. 中年級組 10-12歲 （鉛筆組）

5. 成人組18歲以上（華裔，原子筆組）
6. 成人組18歲以上（外籍人士，原子筆組）
五、比賽規則
• 參賽者於報到後，依指定題目於30分鐘內完成書寫。
• 比賽用紙由主辦單位提供，無需自備文具。
• 完成作品後即可交卷離場。
六、評審方式
• 評分標準：
字體端正美觀（50%）
結構勻稱（30%）
排版整齊（20%）
• 由主辦單位邀請4位賢達人士擔任評審。
七、獎勵辦法
• 各組設冠軍、亞軍、季軍1名及佳作2名。
• 頒發獎狀與獎品，鼓勵持續精進書寫能力。
• 頒獎時間與地點另行通知。
八、特色與創意亮點
• 隨到隨寫：不用趕時間，讓參賽者自由安排。
• 跨文化交流：特設「成人外籍人士組」，推廣中文之美。
• 展覽分享：得獎及優秀作品將於活動後展出，並於網站、社群平台分享，讓更多人欣賞書寫成果。
• 打卡互動：現場設置「墨香合影牆」，讓參賽者與自己的作品合影留念。

“The Beauty of Chinese Characters” Writing Contest
Objective
Through this writing contest, we aim to promote the beauty of Traditional Chinese characters, allowing participants of all ages and backgrounds to experience the cultural depth and joy of writing Chinese by hand, while fostering cross-cultural understanding and exchange.
Date and Time
Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Last entry at 2:30 p.m.)
This is an open-entry format — participants may arrive anytime within the contest hours. Each participant will have 30 minutes to complete their writing and may leave after submission.

Rules
• After registration, participants will complete a designated writing task within 30 minutes.
• Writing paper will be provided by the organizer; no need to bring stationery.
• Participants may leave once their work is submitted.
Judging Criteria
• Neatness and aesthetics of handwriting (50%)
• Balance and character structure (30%)
• Layout and presentation (20%)
Four experienced judges will be invited by the organizer to evaluate all entries.
Awards
• Each category will have one Champion, one 2nd Place, one 3rd Place, and two Honorable Mentions.
• Winners will receive certificates and prizes to encourage continued excellence in handwriting.
• Award ceremony date and venue will be announced later.
Special Features and Highlights
• Flexible participation: Arrive anytime during contest hours — no rush.
• Cross-cultural exchange: Special division for non-Chinese participants to experience the beauty of Chinese writing.
• Exhibition & Sharing: Winning and outstanding works will be displayed after the event and featured on the official website and social media.
• Photo Interaction: “Ink Memory Wall” on site for participants to take photos with their calligraphy works.

中秋節慶團圓華語文化推廣活動

活動開始之前，全體會眾一同虔誠合十，為近日遭受樺加沙颱風侵襲的台灣災民祈福，祈願大地早日安定，災民能重建家園，恢復安樂生活。這份誠摯的祈禱，將遠在海外的心意送回故鄉，凝聚一股溫暖的力量。
烈治文山市（Richmond Hill）市長韋斯特（David West）首先致詞，他深受慈濟志工長年在全球及在地社區默默付出的精神所感動，因此即便行程繁忙，也堅持要來參與。因為他看到慈濟用無私的愛連結不同族群，讓我們的社區充滿溫情。副市長陳志輝（Godwin Chan）也特別肯定慈濟在推廣華人文化上的努力，尤其是曾經參加人文學校活動時，看到學生為家長奉茶的畫面，讓他印象深刻，如果他的孩子還在讀書的話，他一定會送來慈濟就讀。他也在分享最後期許災區居民能早日恢復正常生活。
駐多倫多台北經濟文化辦事處梁毅鵬處長更指出，慈濟是台灣的驕傲，在國際舞台上展現人文關懷的力量。文化中心藍柏青主任則期望慈濟北多倫多人文學校未來能成為台灣華語文學習中心之一，把語文教育與文化傳承持續推動。慈濟北多倫多人文學校校長黃淑珍表示，希望以充滿活力、啟發與歡樂的學習氛圍，帶領學生認識並學習正體中文與中華文化，深化對台灣文化的了解，讓中秋節成為最佳的文化推廣教室。她也期盼透過推動華語文教育，讓台裔加人社群在大多倫多地區多元文化的舞台上，成為不可或缺的重要力量。
活動中特別的驚喜，是加拿大現任保守黨黨魁博勵治（Pierre Poilievre）的到來。博勵治致詞時，盛讚台灣在半導體領域領先全球，重視家庭價值及愛國精神令人敬佩，他很榮幸受邀參加中秋節慶團華語文化推廣活動。同時也表示，中秋節是華人團圓的重要日子，就如同西方的感恩節，因此希望藉此與大家共同分享團聚的喜悅。他的現身讓現場氣氛更加熱絡，會眾紛紛與他合影留念，留下難忘的回憶。
在貴賓致詞後，活動進入文化推廣的精彩高潮。首先登場的是中文認字與寫字比賽。由志工黃淑芳老師帶領，全場分成九組，透過部首組字的方式進行挑戰。每一筆每一劃，都牽動著大家的思緒，孩子們努力回想學過的字，大人們也發揮記憶，現場笑聲、掌聲不斷。比賽不只是競賽，更是一種傳承，黃淑芳老師也勉勵孩子們要向大人學習，將來能在文字中找到文化的根。
緊接著，柚子DIY創意大賽更是把氣氛推向另一個高點。二十五分鐘的創作時間內，大家用雙手與巧思，將一顆顆柚子變化成活靈活現的動物造型：有可愛的兔子、靈巧的章魚、憨厚的烏龜、跳躍的青蛙，還有巨大的鯨魚與帶刺的刺蝟……琳瑯滿目的作品讓人目不暇給。大人小孩都專注投入，現場充滿創意與歡樂，真正展現了「一家人歡喜團聚」的節慶氛圍。更別說古箏老師袁國偉先生彈奏與中秋有關的背景音樂，讓現場充滿濃濃的中秋團圓氣氛。
這一場中秋文化茶會，不只是節日的歡慶，更是一次心靈的交流與文化的傳承。透過祈福、中文認字與寫字比賽與柚子DIY創作，不同族裔、不同年齡層的人們在慈濟的場域裡找到共鳴，感受到團圓的美好。

We just received an urgent notice from York Region District School Board (YRDSB) that due to ongoing construction at Unionville High School, our scheduled opening day on Sunday, September 21, 2025 must be cancelled. Please do not come to the school on that day.
The new opening day will be postponed to Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 9:00–11:50 am

Reminder for ParentsIf your child has not yet completed the 2025–2026 school year registration, we kindly ask you to finish the process as soon as possible through the TUIO system to ensure proper class placement and a smooth start.

慈濟xSDGs 一包米的機會教育
加拿大慈濟北多倫多聯絡點，為萬錦地區的基層家庭募集物資，第二次與萬錦市的市議員合作，共募得超過100包白米、以及慈濟人文學校親子捐贈食物，送到萬錦市食物銀行。
愛心捐贈給食物銀行的公告一出，北多倫多慈濟人文學校入口處，連續三個周日，都有家長讓孩子帶來物資。
慈濟北多倫多聯絡點，另外也募到超過100包15磅的白米，總共三輛小客車裝滿它們。這是北多倫多慈濟志工，第二年和萬錦市市議員李思韻合作。
萬錦市第八區市議員 李思韻：「第二年了 跟慈濟一起合作，送暖到我們的 萬錦市食物銀行，我還有帶了我的小女兒一起來，讓她去感受一下，搬食物 搬米 一包包大米的感覺。」
加拿大統計2024年，全國將近1000萬人，面臨不同程度的糧食困難，慈濟北多倫多聯絡點會持續激發社區力量，為弱勢族群的基本生活貢獻一份心力。

萬錦市第八區市議員 李思韻：「第二年了，跟慈濟一起合作，送暖到我們的萬錦市食物銀行，我還有帶了我的小女兒一起來，讓她去感受一下，搬食物、搬米，一包包大米的感覺。」
加拿大統計2024年，全國將近1000萬人，面臨不同程度的糧食困難，慈濟北多倫多聯絡點會持續激發社區力量，為弱勢族群的基本生活貢獻一份心力。

加拿大慈濟中醫門診中心 駐點擴大服務
加拿大慈濟中醫門診中心，關懷北多倫多、金星銀髮村的長者、長達十年，去年11月，正式駐點醫療服務，讓醫療更方便。
膝蓋與肩膀長期疼痛，針灸治療，逐漸得到緩解。
長者 Eleonora：「今天我做了很多拔罐，因為我的背 在我做了園藝後很痛，但其實在那之前就開始痛了，我之前搬了一些重物 現在好多了，我非常喜歡這裡的氛圍，你們每一個人都充滿了同情心，讓人感受到那分關懷的力量。」
慈濟中醫門診中心進駐金星銀髮村，中醫師輪班，為低收入戶長者設計照顧計畫，門診費不到原價的三分之一，長輩們只要走出房門就能看醫師。
長者 Ingrid ：「我本來就對中醫有所了解，也曾接受過針灸治療，當我發現這裡竟然就有一家，中醫針灸診所時 感到非常高興。」
長者 Gregory：「心臟問題 特別是心房顫動，是我的另一個症狀，我的呼吸仍然有些問題，另一件對我很有幫助的事，我腿部血液循環恢復了，腫脹已經消了很多。」
低收費，讓更多長者持續獲得優質治療。
長者 Lydia ：「張令陶醫師對我進行了一些治療，這意味著 我可以，我現在有更多的食欲了。」
80歲的莉迪亞，長期調養，精神好多了，與志工建立好情感。
慈濟中醫門診中心營運總監 李釋然：「沒有人可以設計，自已往生後的棲身之所。」
不想給子孫困擾，這個木製櫃子，是莉迪亞未來的靈柩，讓來協助打掃的醫療團隊，更上了一堂不一樣的生命課程。
