Photo taken by Francis Leung Halloween in western countries is a day brings a lot of fun to children, in Tzu Chi Academy of Humanistic Studies in North Toronto, teachers also made it a lovely Sunday on Oct. 29 for the students.

Candies were handed out by the Principal and volunteers in the corridor and office, and various fun games or celebrations were taken place in each classroom. Children showed fantastic talents in performing songs with sign language, or making masks, dolls using recycled materials. Volunteers and some of the parents were also invited to share the happiness all over the campus on this Sunday.

Tzu Chi West Canada Humanities Academy Teachers’ Training Camp was held on Oct 15 2017, there are 5 schools’ staffs sharing resources and experiences in the Camp, while 3 districts school staffs in East Canada were joining the camp through on-line conference.

Teaching of Chinese language in overseas is at all times hard to promote, the cultural differences sometimes build up a mental resistance in western background students. Tzu Chi Canada Humanities Academy is conducting a social education on Propriety and Morality along with the Chinese language teaching. The aim of Tzu Chi Humanities Academy is set to help the children grow up in the consciousness of Appreciation, Respect and Love.

Peaceful Mind, should start from teaching; only by adequate education, could one get to know the way of Love and Happiness, and to understand treasure the life to the full play to the society.
