Hundreds to Benefit from San Fu Herbal Patch from Tzu Chi Foundation Canada

Greater Toronto Area, ON – July 8, 2019 – Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) emphasizes strongly on preventative treatments during the best and most effective times of the year. San Fu Tie (Celestial Herbal Patch) is one of the acupuncture protocols that can be applied to alleviate some winter and spring ailments via summertime.
San Fu Tie is an ancient non-invasive protocol handed down from the Qing Dynasty. Nowadays it is available in many TCM clinics and hospitals in Asia and is very popular and well adopted by patients of all ages. Patches contains proprietary blended herbs are placed on various specific acupuncture points related to the lung system on the upper back. During summer, when the weather is hottest, the pores of the skin are easy to open, allowing the herbs to penetrate into the skin and achieve the best effect. This strengthens your health by nourishing the warm energy of the body, which helps to reduce the occurrence and prevents some of the most common scenarios in the winter and spring, such as asthma and hay fever.
Organized and sponsored by the Tzu Chi Foundation Canada, co-organized by the Tzu Chi Clinic of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Humber College Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner Program and Tzu Chi International Medical Association Canada (TIMA Canada), hundreds of people will receive and be benefitted from free treatments of San Fu Tie this summer.
“After three consecutive herbal patch treatments were applied on specific days during the winter (San Jiu Tie) and the summer (San Fu Tie), over time, can significantly reduce the severity of health problems related to immune, allergy and respiratory system. Clinical experiences and some studies have indicated that patients could gradually be relieved from those health issues after receiving herbal patch treatments consecutively for three or more years,” said Dr. Michael Chung, Managing Director of the Tzu Chi Clinic of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
“We provided three treatments of winter San Jiu Tie for members and volunteers in January 2019 and experienced first-hand how they have benefitted from the treatments. Tzu Chi’s founder Dharma Master Cheng Yen always teaches us to contribute to the community for the betterment of all living beings, so we are now launching these treatments this summer for the betterment of the general public,” said Gary Ho, CEO, Tzu Chi Foundation Canada.
Scenarios that can be benefitted with San Fu Tie include chronic bronchitis, asthma, allergy, sinusitis, recurrent or lingering colds and flu, feeling cold all the time, and more.
